They also added to this a bibliography search with five objectives, the fifth termed \u0080\u009cTechniques for Activating the Human Organism by Remote Electronic Means \u0080\u009d. This study became known later as MKULTRA subproject 119, with MKULTRA being the CIA \u0080\u0099s mind control program.<\/p>\n<p>Documents that are related to MKULTRA were obtained by a FOIA request by John Marks who conducted research for his book \u201cThe Search For The Manchurian Candidate \u2014 The CIA and Mind Control, The Secret History of the Behavioral Sciences\u201d (1979) published by W. Norton \u2014 paperback 1991, ISBN 0\u2212393\u221230794\u22128.
