I wouldn\u2019t completely rule out this hypothesis insofar as a theorist Michio Kaku allegorically compares our earthly civilization to an \u201canthill\u201d next to the \u201cten-lane superhighway\u201d of a galactic-type civilization. Over time, however, I\u2019ve come to realize that the physics of information holds the key to the solution of the Fermi Paradox \u2014 indications are we most likely live in a \u201csyntellect chrysalis\u201d instead of a \u201ccosmic jungle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Just like a tiny mustard seed in the soil, we\u2019ll get to grow out of the soil, see \u201cthe light of the day\u201d and network by roots and pollen with others, at the cosmic level of emergent complexity \u2014 as a civilizational superorganism endowed with its own advanced extradimensional consciousness. So, one day our Syntellect, might \u201cwake up\u201d as some kind of a newborn baby of the intergalactic family (or multiversal family, for that matter \u2013 that remains to be seen) within the newly perceived reality framework.
