NGC 972\u2019s orange-pink glow comes from hydrogen gas reacting to intense light beaming outwards from neighboring newborn stars, <a href=\"https:\/\/spacetelescope.org\/images\/potw1926a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said a Hubble Space Telescope press release<\/a>.
