Back then, Spiber\u2019s QMONOS was said to be the world\u2019s first successfully-produced synthetic <a href=\"https:\/\/materialdistrict.com\/?s=spider+silk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spider silk<\/a> material (since then, other brands have succeeded in making products with this material, like <a href=\"https:\/\/materialdistrict.com\/article\/ties-bioengineered-spider-silk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bolt Threads<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/materialdistrict.com\/article\/adidas-biodegradable-synthetic-spider-silk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adidas<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Currently, most sports apparel is made from synthetic materials such as polyester and nylon.
