So when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ian-hodder.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ian Hodder, Ph.D.<\/a>, an archeologist who leads the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catalhoyuk.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c7atalh\u00f6y\u00fck Research Project<\/a>, invited him to join the project in 2004, he quickly accepted the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>This new study is based on 25 years of findings linked to the human remains found in \u00c7atalh\u00f6y\u00fck. Dating of remains shows that the population there grew to its peak in the period from 6,700 to 6,500 B.C. and then declined rapidly.
