For the first time, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) have used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/crispr-gene-editing\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"CRISPR\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CRISPR<\/a>-Cas9 to edit the DNA of brewer\u2019s yeast.<\/p>\n<p>The goal wasn\u2019t to create super space yeast.
