Juno determined the gas giant\u2019s secular variation is most likely driven by the planet\u2019s deep atmospheric winds.<\/p>\n<p>The discovery will help scientists further understand Jupiter\u2019s interior structure\u2014including atmospheric dynamics\u2014as well as changes in Earth\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/magnetic+field\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">magnetic field<\/a>.
