The finding could lead to a diagnostic blood test to distinguish KD from other infectious and inflammatory conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Results of the international study published on August 6 in <a href=\"https:\/\/jamanetwork.com\/journals\/jamapediatrics\/fullarticle\/2694801\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>JAMA Pediatrics<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kawasaki disease is the most common acquired heart disease in children.
