This hasn\u2019t happened in real life yet, but researchers have been demonstrating for at least a decade that it\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n<p>Before the first crime happens, Purdue University engineers have tightened security on the \u201cinternet of body.\u201d Now, the network you didn\u2019t know you had is only accessible by you and your devices, thanks to technology that keeps <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/tags\/communication+signals\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">communication signals<\/a> within the body itself.<\/p>\n<p>The work appears in the journal <i>Scientific Reports<\/i>.
