You might have read about this before \u2014 such as in the New Yorker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2017\/01\/30\/doomsday-prep-for-the-super-rich\">deep dive<\/a> back in January 2017 \u2014 but billionaire doomsday preppers are back in the news again thanks to a new viral article <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/s\/futurehuman\/survival-of-the-richest-9ef6cddd0cc1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">penned<\/a> by professor and media theorist Douglas Rushkoff.
