Maybe 30 years is too cautious an estimate, even. Ray Kurzweil has said that already by 2030, life expectancy will increase by one year per year, and I actually won\u2019t be very surprised if he\u2019s right. But everyone in the world won\u2019t get access to the technology as early as Kurzweil estimates, which is why nearly 30 years might still be closer to the truth for most people?\u201d<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>- Norwegian version: <a href=\"http:\/\/haakonsk.blogg.no\/1453587587_hvis_du_lever_om_30_r.html\">Hvis du lever om 30 \u00e5r, er det gode sjanser for at du ogs\u00e5 kan leve om 1000 \u00e5r<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sounds unlikely? It\u2019s not \u2014 it\u2019s actually quite likely.<\/p>\n<p>The only way to get people to live for a thousand years or more is to develop advanced technologies that can manipulate our bodies down to the cellular and molecular level. So the question is whether humanity will develop the necessary technologies over the next 30 years, or not.
