They range from near-infrared through violet, or between 200 and 1,300 nanometers.<\/p>\n<p>Scientists have an exciting <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1708.08887\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspicion<\/a> that our brain\u2019s neurons might be able to communicate through light.
