The results in animal models so far suggest this approach could one day ramp up therapeutic benefits for patients bearing tumors or after removal of the primary tumors.<\/p>\n<p>The research, published in <i>Science Translational Medicine<\/i>, focused on two specific types of melanoma and breast <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/radicalsciencenews.org\/tag\/cancer\/\" data-ws-info=\"https:\/\/api.webshrinker.com\/thumbnails\/v2\/aHR0cDovL3JhZGljYWxzY2llbmNlbmV3cy5vcmcvdGFnL2NhbmNlci8=\/info?size=xlarge&key=Description: RSN Access Key Key: p3&hash=5d0194c0689fcd95d9c9db81ffcb6f14\">#cancer<\/a>, but this approach could work in other tissue types.
