If you smother the child, you\u2019ll save yourself and the others.<\/p>\n<p>If you were in that situation, which was dramatized in the final episode of the \u201970s and \u201980s TV series \u201cM.A.S.H.,\u201d what would you do?<\/p>\n<p>The results of a new UCLA study suggest that scientists could make a good guess based on how the <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/brain\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">brain<\/a> responds when <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/people\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">people<\/a> watch someone else experience pain.
