A new form of synthetic muscle could offer up some major improvements.<\/p>\n<p>A group of researchers from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newswise.com\/articles\/view\/681164\/?sc=dwhr&xy=10021400\" target=\"_blank\">developed a new type of synthetic soft muscle<\/a> that can be manufactured using a 3D printer.
