What started as a tool for producing small objects can now be used to <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/videos\/everything-at-this-store-is-3d-printed-even-the-food-yum\/\" target=\"_blank\">craft food<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/videos\/mit-can-3d-print-a-building-in-hours\/\" target=\"_blank\">build houses<\/a>, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/3d-printed-space-age-chain-mail-is-in-development-at-nasa\/\" target=\"_blank\">construct \u201cspace fabric.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of the tech\u2019s most impressive applications, however, is the creation of artificial tissues and organs, a process known as 3D bioprinting, and now, a team of researchers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ox.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">University of Oxford<\/a> has developed a new method that takes 3D bioprinting to the next level.
