Around the world, approximately 1 in 6 deaths is due to cancer, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.who.int\/mediacentre\/factsheets\/fs297\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according to the World Health Organisation<\/a> (WHO).<\/p>\n<p>The prevalence of cancer is due, in part, to the absence of a universal cure for all forms of the disease. While various treatments are available, each type of cancer generally requires specific treatment.<\/p>\n<p>A new method developed by doctors at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gosh.nhs.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Great Ormond Street Hospital in London<\/a> presents a hopeful solution.
