Mark Stone\/University of Washington.<\/p>\n<p>University of Washington researchers have invented a <a href=\"http:\/\/batteryfreephone.cs.washington.edu\/\">cellphone that requires no batteries<\/a> \u2014 a major leap forward in moving beyond chargers, cords and dying phones.
