Scientists spotted the Higgs boson, <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/5923422\/physicists-have-found-the-higgs-boson#_ga=1.134069898.58920860.1482160580\" rel=\"nofollow\">a particle<\/a> they\u2019d been hunting for almost 50 years, in 2012, and <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/holy-shit-scientists-have-confirmed-the-existence-of-g-1755465297#_ga=1.134069898.58920860.1482160580\" rel=\"nofollow\">gravitational waves<\/a>, which were theorized 100 years ago, in 2016. This year, they\u2019re slated to <a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/scientists-are-turning-earth-into-a-telescope-to-see-a-1793019946#_ga=1.95410968.58920860.1482160580\" rel=\"nofollow\">take a picture<\/a> of a black hole. So, thought some theorists, why not combine all of the craziest physics ideas into one, a physics turducken?
