The charge: jacking up the price of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popsci.com\/what-are-epipens\">EpiPens<\/a>, her company\u2019s signature product. Those price hikes left some allergy sufferers without access to emergency epinephrine, the drug that saves people who go into anaphylactic shock.<\/p>\n<p>Mylan has control of the marketplace because other companies have a hard time <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popsci.com\/generic-epipen-will-cut-costs\">competing<\/a> with the EpiPen\u2019s patented design.
