Though it will still be 3 \u2013 5 years before the U.S. based Organovo apply for clearance of their liver tissue, that is still sooner than perhaps even the <a href=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/news\/medicine-gets-personal-3d-printed-pills-fda-101689\/\">FDA had in mind<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-clinical trial data shows that <a href=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/news\/bioprinted-liver-tissue-generate-organ-level-responses-87096\/\">3D bioprinted liver tissue<\/a> has been successfully planted into lab-bred mice.
