However, developments in this particular field have been more like baby steps rather than great strides.<\/p>\n<p>But now, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/newscenter\/a-first-for-direct-drive-fusion\/\" target=\"_blank\">one study<\/a> is significantly accelerating our (unfortunately) small steps towards nuclear fusion.
