Ultimately, it is controlled by a pneumatic system.<\/p>\n<p>A group of Harvard engineers were able to create a completely autonomous robot using <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2016\/08\/24\/harvards-octobot-is-the-first-autonomous-machine-to-be-made-with-all-soft-robotics\/\" target=\"_blank\">soft robotics<\/a>. Notably, this is the first robot created that does not use any hard components.
