For now though, the technology is still in need of software improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla Motors has been starring in headlines recently, thanks to crashes attributed to the autopilot system, the announcement of the ambitious <a href=\"http:\/\/bgr.com\/2016\/07\/20\/elon-musk-master-plan-part-two-tesla-future-transportation\/\" target=\"_blank\">Master Plan<\/a>, and the company\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/futurism.com\/tesla-is-buying-solarcity-and-its-costing-them-2-6-billion\/\">acquisition of SolarCity<\/a>.
