Far from reality, sure, but the idea of mixing and matching creatures is real \u2014 and has ethicists concerned.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s because last week, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/health-shots\/2016\/08\/04\/488387729\/nih-plans-to-lift-ban-on-research-funds-for-part-human-part-animal-embryos\">the National Institutes of Health proposed<\/a> a new policy to allow funding for scientists who are creating chimeras \u2014 the non-mythological kind.
