Theorists have churned out hundreds of papers attempting to explain the existence of the particle \u2014assuming it\u2019s not a statistical fluke. Scientists are now beginning to converge on the most likely explanations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this thing is true, it\u2019s huge.
