And now, researchers may have found another necessary ingredient: ribose, the \u2018R\u2019 in RNA.<\/p>\n<p>Before we dive into the new discovery, it\u2019s important to understand what life, as we know it, needs to get started, and how we think it may have happened here on Earth. Life on Earth requires <a href=\"http:\/\/phys.org\/news\/2016-04-scientists-rna-abundant-space.html\">three macromolecules<\/a>: RNA, DNA and proteins.
