While those at the forefront of the 2016 race talk about defeating ISIS, Istvan is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ibtimes.co.uk\/zoltan-istvan-immortality-bus-delivers-transhumanist-bill-rights-us-capitol-1534388\" target=\"_blank\">taking on beating death itself<\/a>. Recently, I had a chance to talk to him.<\/p>\n<p>In approaching the interview, I was unsure of what to expect. Istvan is a dynamic personality, as polarizing as he is engaging. His enthusiasm for the future is contagious, and he\u2019s not afraid to make seemingly outrageous statements to get people engaged in a conversation he believes is vital \u2014 not only to our country\u2019s future, but humanity\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019ve been following <a href=\"https:\/\/motherboard.vice.com\/author\/ZoltanIstvan\" target=\"_blank\">your articles on Motherboard<\/a>, but I\u2019d like to more formally introduce you to our readers. Even considering the current, shall we say \u201ceclectic\u201d roster of candidates, your campaign remains particularly unique.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Istvan: You know, when you\u2019re a third-party, you do wacky things to try to get some attention and spread your message.
