Notably, CLGI could promote EOCRC by altering the proinflammatory and immune microenvironment that supports tumor growth and cancer development. In this review, we examine how risk factors disrupt immune homeostasis and contribute to CLGI in young individuals, thereby promoting the development of EOCRC.
