For years, scientists have been investigating whether social messages like eye contact and baby talk do more than engage babies. They may help synchronize babies\u2019 brains with adult brain waves. But the biggest question remained: Does it actually help babies learn?<\/p>\n<p>A new study, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-026-75831-x\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> in <i><i>Nature Communications<\/i>,<\/i> offers an answer.
