They\u2019re usually just over-the-top antagonists in comic books, but <a href=\"http:\/\/sploid.gizmodo.com\/tag\/colin-furze\">Colin Furze<\/a> is the real thing. He has a penchant for building things that often blow up\u2014on purpose\u2014like this impossibly dangerous-looking thermite cannon.<\/p>\n<p>Not familiar with <a href=\"http:\/\/sploid.gizmodo.com\/tag\/thermite\">thermite<\/a>? It\u2019s an especially nasty chemical composition made of metal power and oxide that burns as hot as 2,500 degrees celsius.
