This breakthrough system allows the robot to learn tasks like obstacle avoidance and object manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>Described as the \u201cworld\u2019s first open-source brain-on-chip intelligent complex information interaction system,\u201d the technology marks a significant advancement in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) \u2013 devices that translate between neural and computational signals.<\/p>\n<p>The South China Morning Post notes that the scientists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/news\/china\/science\/article\/3268304\/chinese-scientists-create-robot-brain-made-human-stem-cells\">grew<\/a> the organoids from human pluripotent stem cells, which can develop into various cell types, including neural tissue. These synthetic-organic (pardon the oxymoron) brain cells are linked to the robot\u2019s neural interface, enabling communication between the neural tissue and the robot\u2019s systems.
