The paper presenting its multiwavelength analysis was published in the journal <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/mnras\/advance-article\/doi\/10.1093\/mnras\/stag1138\/8707692\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society<\/i><\/a> on June 13.<\/p>\n<p>On March 5, 2024, a space telescope called the Einstein Probe\u2014designed to scan the sky for sudden X-ray flashes\u2014caught a brief, never-before-seen source called EP240305a.
