If you do, IARPA wants to speak with you.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Last month, the intelligence community\u2019s research arm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nextgov.com\/emerging-tech\/2016\/02\/how-can-you-train-ai-get-smarter-intelligence-community-wants-know\/125965\/\"> requested<\/a> information about training resources that could help artificially intelligent systems get smarter.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s more than an effort to build new, more sophisticated algorithms. The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity could actually save money by refining existing algorithms that have been previously discarded by subjecting them to more rigorous training.<\/p>\n<p><em> Nextgov <\/em> spoke with Jacob Vogelstein, a program manager at IARPA who specializes in in applied neuroscience, about the program.
