According to a new study by researchers at Yale and the University of Missouri, chemical catalysts containing manganese\u2014an abundant, inexpensive metallic element\u2014proved highly effective in converting carbon dioxide into formate, a compound viewed as a potential key contributor of hydrogen for the next generation of fuel cells.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/chem\/fulltext\/S2451-9294(25)00424-3\" target=\"_blank\">new study appears<\/a> in the journal <i>Chem<\/i>.
