However, ensuring long-term operational stability without compromising efficiency or increasing material costs remains a critical challenge.<\/p>\n<p>In a study published in <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.joule.2025.102225\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Joule<\/i><\/a>, a joint research team from the Institute of Metal Research (IMR) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhengzhou University has achieved <a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/news\/2025-12-carbon-nanotubes-power-generation-flexible.html?utm_source=embeddings&utm_medium=related&utm_campaign=internal\" rel=\"related\" target=\"_blank\">power conversion efficiency<\/a> (PCE) surpassing 20% in flexible modules capable of withstanding a range of external stresses. The study highlights the use of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) as window electrodes for scalable f-PSMs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techxplore.com\/news\/2025-01-shielding-flexible-solar-modules-harsh.html?utm_source=embeddings&utm_medium=related&utm_campaign=internal\" rel=\"related\" target=\"_blank\">SWCNT films<\/a> exhibit excellent hydrophobicity, resisting moisture-induced degradation while enhancing device stability.
