The Taiwanese semiconductor giant has been reported to <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/apple-secured-nearly-half-of-tsmc-2nm-wafer-supply-production-beginning-in-q4-2025\/\">have begun mass production<\/a>, while also <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/tsmc-building-three-more-2nm-facilities-in-taiwan-costing-28-6-billion\/\">investing in three additional facilities to ramp up manufacturing and meet demand<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Apple is said to have <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/apple-secured-more-than-half-of-tsmc-2nm-production-to-starve-competition\/\">secured more than half of TSMC\u2019s initial 2nm capacity<\/a>, but the latest rumor claims that MediaTek and Qualcomm will unveil their SoCs alongside their competitor in the same month. As for how this will be possible, the tipster states that the production cycle of the 2nm node is longer than TSMC\u2019s 3nm, and the finalization of each chipset will likely be completed earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Qualcomm and MediaTek have been rumored to <a href=\"https:\/\/wccftech.com\/qualcomm-and-mediatek-moving-to-tsmc-2nm-n2p-process-to-have-an-edge-on-apple\/\">transition to TSMC\u2019s improved 2nm \u2018N2P\u2019 process instead of the \u2018N2\u2019 variant<\/a> to gain an edge over Apple, but according to Smart Chip Insider, all three companies will utilize the same manufacturing process while also unveiling their next-generation SoCs in September.
