Psilocybin also <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/news\/2023-03-psychedelics-cognition.html?utm_source=embeddings&utm_medium=related&utm_campaign=internal\" rel=\"related\">strengthens pathways<\/a> to subcortical regions that turn sensory perceptions into action, essentially enhancing sensory-motor responses.<\/p>\n<p>The findings <a href=\"https:\/\/linkinghub.elsevier.com\/retrieve\/pii\/S0092867425013054\" target=\"_blank\">were published<\/a> Dec. 5 in <i>Cell<\/i>.
