They battle viruses, <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/breast+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">breast cancer<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/liver+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">liver cancer<\/a>, melanomas, and many other health threats.<\/p>\n<p>Pandurangan Vijayanand, M.D., Ph.D., William K.
