The very structure of spacetime might underlie every interaction in nature.<\/p>\n<p>A paper <a href=\"https:\/\/linkinghub.elsevier.com\/retrieve\/pii\/S0550321325001683\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> in <i>Nuclear Physics B<\/i>, led by Richard Pincak, explores the idea that all <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/fundamental+forces\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">fundamental forces<\/a> and particle properties could emerge from the geometry of hidden <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/extra+dimensions\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">extra dimensions<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the study, the universe may contain invisible dimensions folded into intricate seven-dimensional shapes known as G\u2082-manifolds. Traditionally, these structures have been studied as static.
