Meriles\u2014Martin and Michele Cohen Professor of Physics in the Division of Science\u2014and titled \u201cEmission of Nitrogen\u2013Vacancy Centres in Diamond Shaped by Topological Photonic Waveguide Modes,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41565-025-02001-3\" target=\"_blank\">appears<\/a> in the journal Nature Nanotechnology.<\/p>\n<p>What has long been considered a drawback of the NV center\u2014its broad and messy emission spectrum\u2014turns out to enable a new type of coupling that reshapes its light in ways not seen before.
