However, Mr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/sam-altman\/\">Altman<\/a> offered no such comfort with the third scenario, the one that seemed to trouble him most.<\/p>\n<p>He described a future where AI systems become \u201cso ingrained in society \u2026 [that we] can\u2019t really understand what they\u2019re doing, but we do kind of have to rely on them.
