The research suggests that \u201cinflammaging\u201d\u2014chronic, low-grade inflammation associated with aging\u2014appears to be a byproduct of industrialized lifestyles and varies significantly across global populations.<\/p>\n<p>The findings are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s43587-025-00888-0\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> in Nature Aging.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers analyzed data from four populations: two industrialized groups\u2014the Italian InCHIANTI study and the Singapore Longitudinal Aging Study (SLAS)\u2014and two Indigenous, non-industrialized populations\u2014the Tsimane of the Bolivian Amazon and the Orang Asli of Peninsular Malaysia.
