Virtual Reality Company (VRC) co-founder and <em>Maleficent <\/em>director Robert Stromberg declared his company is working with Steven Spielberg on a project that is \u201csolely for VR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/8sBUrwu-fpA?t=37m53s\" target=\"_blank\">Responding to a question<\/a> about how to take VR filmmaking to the next level, Robert Stromberg said \u201cit is about getting other filmmakers interested of course, from the independent level to getting major players involved as well\u2026 I can say here, my company \u2013 VRC \u2013 we\u2019re working with, for instance, Steven Spielberg on a project that\u2019s solely for VR.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We <a href=\"http:\/\/uploadvr.com\/steven-spielberg-vr-entertainment\/\" target=\"_blank\">previously reported<\/a> that Steven Spielberg signed on as one of the company\u2019s advisors, but at the time there was no confirmation on his involvement with any projects.
