These include male and female infertility, <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalxpress.com\/tags\/colon+cancer\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">colon cancer<\/a> and poor lung function. The particles also may contribute to chronic pulmonary inflammation, which can increase the risk of lung cancer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese microplastics are basically particulate matter air pollution, and we know this type of air pollution is harmful,\u201d said Tracey J.
