The nonwovens are made of carbon and silicon-based ceramic via electrospinning process and are attractive for technological applications, for example, in <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/energy+technology\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">energy technology<\/a> and electronics. They can be manufactured and processed cost-effectively on an industrial scale.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/high+electrical+conductivity\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">high electrical conductivity<\/a> is associated with <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/high+thermal+conductivity\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">high thermal conductivity<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/low+thermal+conductivity\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">low thermal conductivity<\/a> goes with low electrical conductivity.
