The Austin Light Rail now has a team in place to build the city\u2019s first light rail system, set to shakeup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/austin\/article\/i35-expansion-ground-breaking-austin-19879525.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"\">the city\u2019s public transportation<\/a> in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptx.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"\">Austin Transit Partnership<\/a> selected AECOM, a Dallas-based infrastructure consulting firm, to bring the first phase of the approximately 10-mile light rail to life in Austin, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/aecom.com\/press-releases\/aecom-to-support-transformed-mobility-across-austin-texas-by-delivering-the-citys-first-light-rail-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"\">release<\/a>.
