Wek, Ph.D., Showalter Professor of Biochemistry, the study was recently published in Science Signaling.<\/p>\n<p>Prostate cancer is a leading cause of cancer deaths in American men. Current treatments target the hormone testosterone, which prostate cancer cells need to grow.
