It\u2019s increasingly difficult to predict where we will be tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>One thing is clear: we are entering the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scientificamerican.com\/article\/what-does-artificial-general-intelligence-actually-mean\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.scientificamerican.com\/article\/what-does-artificial-general-intelligence-actually-mean\/\" aria-label=\"Artificial General Intelligence\">Artificial General Intelligence<\/a> (AGI) spectrum and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/think\/topics\/artificial-superintelligence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/think\/topics\/artificial-superintelligence\" aria-label=\"Artificial Superintelligence\">Artificial Superintelligence<\/a> (ASI) now seems clearly within reach. However it is defined, AGI will not appear suddenly; it will evolve and already we see signs of its incremental unfolding.<\/p>\n<p>AGI has long been the ultimate goal\u2014a technology capable of performing the mental work of humans, transforming how we work, live, think.
