Their study is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/sciadv.adr2007\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> in the journal Science Advances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur results have no clear or direct application right now. It\u2019s basic research that lays the foundation for future technologies in <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/tags\/quantum+information\/\" rel=\"tag\" class=\"\">quantum information<\/a> and quantum computers.
